Exclusive! CRES Natural Hazard Disclosure (NHD) Reports

A house, street, and neighborhood may look great, but there could be hidden hazards that bring added danger or costs. These can include flood, earthquake, wildfire and other risks.

A Natural Hazard Disclosure can bring more certainty to the potential exposures beneath and around the home — things everyone should know before making one of their largest investments. In addition to flood, fire, and earthquake zone disclosures, the Natural Hazard Disclosure Reports can also disclose special assessments or other added fees (depending on availability).

Natural Hazard Disclosures are required in California
– and now recommended nationwide

These NHD reports are required to be furnished by the seller to the buyers on residential transactions in California, and now we can provide them to buyers in 48 states (unavailable in AK and HI).

We’ve partnered with Disclosure Source NHD and myNHD to make these NHD reports more easily accessible. These third-party reports protect all parties to a transaction from liability for any items disclosed on the NHD.

And when you purchase a NHD report on behalf of your seller and provide the report to a buyer before closing, the NHD will include the $25,000 Sellers Protection Plan when the licensee has CRES E&O. Sellers Protection covers claims related to seller-completed disclosure forms.

• Seller’s Protection Plan protects your sellers for 180 days after the sale of their primary residence should a buyer be unhappy about the way something was or wasn’t disclosed.

CRES NHD powered by myNHD (Available in California and all states, except Alaska and Hawaii) includes $25,000 of Sellers E&O insurance to give to your seller when you or your real estate company is insured with CRES E&O.

CRES NHD by Disclosure Source (California Only) Offices with CRES E&O Insurance could qualify their Sellers for $25,000 of E&O lawsuit protection for FREE for 180 days after close of escrow!
